Today Onet Rano hosted Piotr Mieczkowski, managing director of the foundation, who talked about the foundation's latest report and the ongoing 7th Digital Festival
‘88% of Poles reach for their phones within the first hour of waking up’ – this is just one of the many conclusions of the 7th edition of the report ‘Technology in the service of society. Will Poles become a 5.0 society?’, which Piotr shared today on the programme.
The discussion focused on digital hygiene, the need to include seniors, but also the development of innovation in Poland. The latter is celebrating its 7th anniversary on 24 October. That is when Innovation Night will take place throughout Poland, with the participation of universities such as the Częstochowa University of Technology, the University of Łódź and the Białystok University of Technology. Participants can look forward to workshops on programming, creating VR applications and learning about the possibilities of artificial intelligence. EY GDS in Wrocław has also prepared a meeting on innovation.
Watch the entire conversation about how we perceive connectivity and the digital world, as well as how each of us can get involved in the Digital Festival, which runs until 10 November and offers many interesting initiatives, events, training courses and inspiration available to everyone.
